STEAM activities use hands-on experiences to integrate these subjects in a way that is meaningful to children. They encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. It gives their curious minds a new perspective on the world, often encouraging children to ask questions, observe and gather information, and communicate their findings. Such a fun way to introduce them to their environment and how it works!

How to Incorporate STEAM

STEAM can be incorporated into school lessons, play, and entertainment (TV and internet). It can be infused into daily life by using problem solving and critical thinking skills to solve everyday issues (how to share materials with others or planning a fair chore schedule). It can also be presented as a bigger project (presenting a science experiment or researching and caring for a garden). Children often incorporate STEAM into their play without even realizing.
